Weekly Fantasy Update

Week Six match ups!

Shocker of the week is the girl who quit, that's right Kerry "the stiff" Collins
quit on the Wharthogs!

Homestead (3-2)@Boston (3-2)- The shocked Braindarts limp into Boston with the
hopes of coming out of Beantown with a W. The problem is that Boston wont roll
over that easy especially when it's a family feud. Look for this game to start a
viscous rivalry between the two brothers and it will only excel if Boston pulls
this one out. Boston is on a two game winning streak while Homestead got the tar
beat out of them by Tally! The Braindarts will be an angry bunch on the field so
look for a big game out of some of the underachievers this year. I like
Homestead in a close one.

Pittsburgh (3-2)@Tallahassee (4-1)- The Seminoles are for real! There had been a
lot of talk that they were pretenders but they have beaten some studs in the
league and have now earned the respect from other organizations. Pittsburgh on
the other hand has been on a roller coaster ride and they need to kick it into
high gear because every team in the NFC east is 3-2, and that means all have a
chance at there respect division title and both card berths. Tally will be
without Dunn and that could be trouble but this team seems to over come
adversity when it is staring right at them. Pitt will hopefully get some mean
production out of Bennett this week, but is it enough? I pick Tally to win in
comfortable fashion.

Louisiana (2-3)@Lawrence (0-5)- Must I predict the winner of this one? Any time
a team plays Lawrence it is exactly like having a bye week with a win put your
column! This is the game that the Liffwaheads need to get their confidence level
back to normal, but it would feel better if they beat a tougher opponent. The
few remaining Lawrence fans will turn on GM Hart and for the first time in
sports request that the team is moved to another country! Louisiana in a cake
walk!

Springfield (3-2)@San Francisco (3-2)- The porn star has been working miracles
and looks to pull another rabbit out of Jerry's anus again against the
Tigersharks. Both teams are coming off victories and both are looking to move up
in the tight NFC east. While San Fran has been shocking people the Tigersharks
have been hot and cold and cant afford to lose any ground in the standings with
a loss to the Wharf Rats. Brunell will have to come up with that big game and
Lamar Smith will also have to provide some scoring punch. On the other side
Karim had better show up and knock it in the Red Zone if San Fran wants to win!
Too close to call.

Hickory Lane (2-3)@So Cal (4-1)- The shady Express are home to take on the
Hootnanies in a decent division rivalry. The reason I say shady is the Express
blatantly bid on a back up QB that the Bingerboyz were bidding on, if that's the
only way that SoCal can assure themselves of a tie with Bongsville (cause SoCal
is 0-1 verse them in 98) then so be it CHEATER! Now back to the game even though
SoCal is on my hit list right now they have a talented squad but with Smith on a
bye week and Martin hurting they could be in trouble. This game could be very
close and Hickory Lane could easily pull it out. I like the Hick in the upset!

Vieques (0-5)@Bongsville (5-0)- Will B-ville get a QB by Sunday? Will it matter?
We'll find out but I think Bongsville is just too tough for anybody right now
and even if they didn't have a starting QB this week they still have Terrell
whom can put up enough numbers for three teammates. Vieques has been the
recipient of tough losses especially last week to Minnesota, one point was the
margin of victory but Vieques picked up M. Irvin this week and they hope he adds
punch to there WR set up. You almost have to feel bad for GM Lippold his team is
very good but like two years ago he has run into bad luck. B-Ville will prevail.

Methuen (3-2)@Wingersheek (1-4)- Methuen looks to get back on track with a
possible blow out over the Sheek this week. With Alstott out that spells almost
certain doom for GM Bern's as he will have no starting backs in the game and
Banks and McCardell will provide the only scoring punch, while GM Caron will
have Hearst and Murell/Enis in there backfield with a slew of other talent. Who
will Methuen start at QB? Will it be Foley, Mcnair or Testeverde? That could be
a game day decision for GM Caron but who ever he starts should have no problem
picking up the win against the Whip~Its. I like Methuen in a potential massacre.

Thunderbay (2-3)@Minnesota (2-3)- Is this the game? Will Minnesota finally beat
Thunder Bay? It will be hard for the Wharthogs to put up the numbers like they
did last week especially with team moral down after Kerry Collins asked to be
taken out of the Back up role and be replaced by the Beurlin/Flutie combo.
Thunder Bay on the other hand is not looking too hot right now either, they are
reeling and are for the first time ever shopping Bret Farve but I don't think he
will be going anywhere as I am sure there demands are very outrageous. Jake the
snake gets the nod this week but he has also found the INT bug along with Farve
but Jake is good enough to break out and have a monster day. The main concern
for the Hogs is Fred Taylor, they are very concerned with Big Fred having a huge
day and it is very possible. The Hogs have a chance but I like Thunder Bay to
continue there dominance over Minnesota.

NFL NEWS:
The Baltimore Sun reports
that Ravens WR Michael Jackson strained his groin while diving for a pass yesterday at practice. He
is questionable for tomorrow's game against Tennessee, and will be a game-time decision. "I would list him as questionable," Ravens
trainer Bill Tessendorf said. "He is sore right now, but at least the injury was sustained in an area where you usually don't get the
injury. That's a good sign, because it wasn't totally in the groin area." WR Ryan Yarborough would start in his place if he can't
go, while WR Floyd Turner becomes the #3 WR.

----------

New York Jets RB Curtis Martin (bruised thigh) didn't practice yesterday and remains "questionable" for Sunday's game at St.Louis.
More updates to come on this situation as it develops.

----------

St. Louis WR Isaac Bruce practiced for the second consecutive day (Wednesday and Thursday) with no problems and
is expected to start against the Jets on Sunday. In fact, in his first full workout in weeks, he was very impressive in practice.

From the Desk of the Commish.....
This league is FULL of owners who do not know how to take time and inform
people of who is starting, trading, signing, cutting....some owners are so
ignorant that they don't even attempt to do their own scoring...

Miscellaneous tasks such as:
Draft pick management
Free Agent management
Transaction management

Go neglected... People who willingly volunteer their efforts to help make
this information available... then they don't do the work... just
ridiculous...

There are people who want the league to be this way and that way.. but when
push comes to shove, people won't get off their lazy asses and do the work.

New Rules have been sent out... but nobody has bothered to take a look at
them... and when people have a question, they will call and disturb someone
else rather than take the time and review the info themselves...

A scoring sheet was sent out with formulas already tabulated. All the owner
has to do is add the names of players playing and type in the numbers they
have on those players... the rest is done for them... yet people refuse to
help out the league by filling this information out and sending to
[email protected]

Personally, this has been a disappointing season because teams have failed
to communicate information timely or completely. People who have volunteered
their services have suddenly disappeared...and those who call for meetings,
improvements, and changes can keep screaming... maybe they will get off
their lazy asses to take action.

As Phil Jerome would say, there is more to life than this silly little
league... I whole-heartedly agree.

But you fools are so self-absorbed that you only care about your personal
gain. And because of this, other people will be left picking up the shit
details and work that none of you willingly take the time to do.

Thanks for your time, you can all go screw, and send your complaints,
comments, ideas to [email protected]

We are supposed to have a meeting soon.. We have a lot to talk about...
however, I will let some others try to coordinate something for a change...
I am tired of chasing some of you as_holes up and down the Merrimack Valley
and beyond.

Thanks and Good Day
